Bobbi Brown’s Pot Rouge for Lips & Cheeks: Cabo Coral

Heya! I will start doing short posts on individual cream blushes and I thought I’ll start with Bobbi Brown’s Cabo Coral. I love Bobbi Brown’s pot rouge. They come in see through glass containers with black plastic caps. It’s not particularly heavy so it’s travel friendly.

I like to apply my cream blush after my liquid foundation, before setting with powder. Some might be worried that it’ll take away the foundation, but really, all you have to do is to pat it on. That way, you won’t mess with the foundation you’ve put on earlier. You can use your fingers or a brush or your beauty blender, they work the same. Pat, don’t smear.

Cabo Coral is a soft coral colour. No shimmers. As you can see in the swatches below, the colour is heavily swatched on the left, and blended on the right.

Below, I have Cabo Coral on my cheeks and lips. On me, it gives a natural coral flush on my cheeks, and a more muted coral on my lips. It’s like a barely there but still something there, kinda colour. It doesn’t pop, just well blended to add some colour to the face.

Do you like more natural colours like this, or do you prefer something that pops? I think I’ll apply the blush more heavily next time for the photos. That way, you’ll be able to tell the difference. Erm, it means having to tone it down later to go out though. Don’t wanna walk around looking like I have baboon’s ass for cheeks!! Hahahahah!!

I will have more for you, so stay tuned =)
