Like all other Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips & Cheeks, this comes in a round glass container with black plastic screw on cap. I usually apply cream blushes after my foundation, before setting with powder. I sometimes apply with a brush, but I also like to apply with fingers. All you have to do is dot it on the apple of your cheeks, and pat to blend. Do not blend using swiping motion, just pat it on using your middle and ring finger.
If you use a brush, just stipple it on. That way, your foundation is intact. If you’re afraid of too much colour, then, dab it at the back of your hands to sheer out the blush before dabbing it on your cheeks. Apply sheer and slowly build up the colour to the intensity you want. That way you minimise mistakes and lessen the hassle of correcting it.
I have done a swatch on my arm here, heavy on the left, blended on the right.
And here it is on my cheeks and lips. I love love love this blush. One of my all time faves! As you can see, I applied the coral very sheer on my cheeks, because the colour goes on very bright on my lips. Normally, I do it vice versa, bright cheeks, neutral lips 😉 I hope you can still see that hint of coral on my cheeks though. It’s very fresh and definitely a Pick-Me-Up for the face!
