Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye: Synchronised Complex

I previously posted an article about eye care, ranging from SKII to Shiseido to Origins, and I wrote that I couldn’t see any improvements to my eye conditions (fine lines and dark circles galore!). So, I’ve resigned to the fact that I should be happy if the conditions did not worsen. In fact, I made myself believe that all eye care products won’t be able to produce any significant visible results in a short time. I stand corrected and humbled.

I introduce to you Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Eye: Synchronised Complex. Since it’s a mouthful, I will refer to it as ANREye in this post.

I bow to you, O’ ANREye!!

The ANREye comes in a brown glass container with brown and gold striped screw on cap. It also comes with an applicator which I only use to get the product from the small jar. I don’t want to risk contaminating the eye serum in the jar, and I can effectively take the right amount of product using the plastic bendy thing (I have no idea what to call it).

This is how I usually use it:

  • Dip the applicator into the jar to get a tiny dollop of gel-like serum (resembling the size of a rice for each eye) onto the tip of the applicator.
  • Transfer the product to the outer corner of both my eyes.
  • Gently pat it in, travelling down and toward the inner corner of my eyes, using my ring fingers, then up my lids from inner to outer corners
  • Repeat 3 times or until the product is fully absorbed.

The serum goes on smooth and silky, and absorbs very quikly for a soft focused finish. The Estee Lauder beauty consultant reminded me specifically NOT to rub the product in. Just pat and pat.

I used it day and night (yes, even if it says night repair) for 2 weeks, together with my Clarisonic Plus for my face (that was my 14-day run for an in depth review of the Clarisonic Plus). If you read that post on Clarisonic, you’d also notice that my eye bags and dark circles have dimished significantly. I never expected the results to be so dramatic in a mere 14 days, but I AM WOW-ed!!!! You might get a better picture at my Clarisonic Plus post because I posted a full face before after photo there. Even people who haven’t seen me in that 2 weeks could notice the difference.

First of all, you’d notice the bags are not as heavy. The dark circles are also less well, dark. Less puffiness too, yeah? Are you convinced? I am! And it’s only been 14 days, with worse than ever sleeping habits for that 2 weeks. I think I’ll stick to this for a very long time…

Oh, in case any of you are wondering, the ANREye is priced at RM200 for 15ml. Pricey? Yes.
But for the dramatic noticeable results compared to others which are meh? So totally worth it. Repurchase? Yes yes yes!

xoxo

I've heard so much about this eye cream! I'm using ANR serum but this one's definitely on my shopping list once my Clinique All About Eyes run out! Eye creams never seem to finish, don't they? Mine just goes on and on! :p

Hi Sukie, I used to take ages to finish a pot of eye cream. The longest I took was a year! But for this ANREye, I'm guessing I'll finish it up in another 3 months or so? Coz if used day and night, with the recommended 'dosage', the pot only lasts about 3 months. If only used at night, then, it'll last you 5-6 months. This is a must have!!!

Hi Diana, you're most welcome! I'm still using this one because it does work. Maybe once you've tried it, you can let me know if this works for you too 🙂
