I first heard of this cremeblend blush by MAC from Kandee Johnson on YouTube about a year ago. My local MAC stores did not carry any cream blushes then, other than limited edition collections that they carried. Naturally, I was very happy to be informed that they finally have cremeblend blushes, and they are permanents! Hence, my MAC cremeblend blush virginity was taken by Posey.
The cremeblend blush comes in a black case just like any of MAC’s powder blushes and mineralised blushes. The texture is soft and smooth – very much like when you’re touching cold butter with your fingers. Hard surface, but still creamy and slippery. That being said, this cremeblend blush is in no way greasy like butter! In fact, once it dries, the blush stays on me for a good 6-8 hours.
MAC Cosmetics website described this colour as warm peach. I believe I also see a slight hint of pink and rose. This colour is unlike any peaches or pinks that I own and I love how it looks on skin. Below is a swatch for you, where left is swatched heavily, and right is blended, and I’ll do a FOTD with this blush in a separate post 🙂 How yummy does this look?
This colour is very flattering across skin tones. It brings out the glow in our natural skin tone – not too dark for light skin gals, not too light or ashy for darker skin gals either. All you have to change is the intensity of the blush. Go light if you’re fair, build it up if you’re darker.
