I realised I haven’t posted any blues here before and when is a better time than now? This is more of a day time look, and I wanted something that’s more subtle, with a peekaboo effect. When I look down or when my eyes are closed, you’ll see the pop of blue. When my eyes are open, there’s only a blue halo around my eyes, but they still look neutral at the same time.
I used Estee Lauder’s double wear stay-in-place shadow cream in Iced Blue as a base, by patting it all over my lids. This cream shadow stays on forever, and it doesn’t crease. For the blue shades, I used Kate’s gradical eye palette in BU-1. I used the lighter colour on the inner half of my lids, and the darker blue on the outer corner. I lined my eyes by smudging the darkest blue all over my lash line, top and bottom. With a neutral colour 2 shades darker than my skin tone (in this case, Urban Decay Naked eye shadow), I blended out the harsh edges along my crease. Highlight my brow bone, apply some mascara, and I’m done.
