No, it’s not Halloween. It was an afternoon when my hubby came home, asking me to model so he could test out his latest version of his DIY beauty dish. So, I went to put my makeup on and whack! I somehow (can’t remember how, exactly) messed up my black liner. Instead of removing and reapplying, I just played with it. You will see the left of my face sporting a more subdued look and the right will be an edgier look.
Both eyes are done using Dior Bleu De Paris (254) palette. This is the more subdued look which is definitely work appropriate. This look is Dr Jekyll. Blush is applied higher on the apple of the cheeks using a light pink blush (MAC Well Dressed). I’m sure you noticed the extra long lashes peeking out my right eye. Well, that’s another look. For Dr Jekyll, no false lashes are used. I don’t usually wear them. I think I can recall exactly when I ever wore false lashes. 5 times in my lifetime. Today is 5 1/2 times. That’s how little I wear them.
This is the other look I call Mdm Hyde, where the eyeliner is played up. Lashes used are by MAC and blush used is MAC Harmony. It is a darker brownish red shade and for more drama, I applied it at the hollow of my cheeks, blending upwards. I highlighted the top of my cheeks using Guerlain Cruel Gardenia. How fierce do I look? Rawr!!
The products I used for the rest of my face are:
Estee Lauder Double Wear Light foundation, MAC Studio Finish Concealer, No7 lip liner in Nude, Shiseido clear gloss, Diorskin Nude Natural Glow powder, black pencil liner, black liquid liner.
There’s gonna be a wordy post next so I’ll keep this to a minimum. If you want a step-by-step of how I did these 2 looks, please let me know. Also, please let me know which one you want a breakdown of – Jekyll or Hyde. It’s the first time I used lashes in my FOTD and it is also the first time I did a Jekyll. It was quite fun, especially running back to my room when my in-laws were coming home. Imagine seeing me full faced! LOL! I hope you liked this 🙂
