I had to have more after I found my lip twin from Rouge Dior Nude range. Who can resist? These lipsticks from Rouge Dior Nude range are really good. When I was contemplating to purchase a few more, I was sent these. Great timing I tell you!
I have with me 3 shades, ranging from light pink nude (Charnelle) to orange-y red (Sillage) to berry (Guipure). You’ll be able to see from the swatches on my arm that Charnelle and Sillage are quite similar. Don’t let these swatches fool you. These lipsticks are made sheer and buttery in texture. The lighter shades let your natural lip colour shine through. So I have to wear all these for you to see.
These shades are all very wearable. They are moisturizing, they do not flake, they are comfortable. On me, they last a good 3 to 4 hours without food. A meal will take most of it off. Reapplying is a breeze. It’s just like applying lip balm. Pictures below show me wearing the different lip colours. My favourite has to be Guipure. Lifts my face immediately, adding a flush of colour. It’s a berry with a tinge of brown on my lips. Charnelle on my lips turn out to be a soft pink while Sillage appears more red in real life. Don’t know why it doesn’t turn up here.
Have you tried any of these Rouge Dior Nude lipsticks yet? Other than Guerlain, my favourite has to be Dior lipsticks. If you haven’t tried any, I urge you to at least test them out. You won’t be disappointed.
