My New Cleansing Routine with Diorsnow

Dior’s Diorsnow skincare range is one of those I can always fall back on. I started my Diorsnow journey in my early twenties or late teens, I’m not too sure. I knew nothing about skincare, not that I bothered with it, but my mom was persistent I used a whitening range. Reason being I had itchy fingers, picked on my pimples and there were marks on my face. I was using Vichy Normaderm and Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Cleanser when my skin was acting up. Now that it’s calmed down, I went on a whitening skincare range again to clear up my skin from unwanted marks. I was super happy when I was sent these, just when I was going to buy them. Let me share with you now my cleansing routine for the past month.

There are 2 products I want to share with you. The Diorsnow White Reveal Gentle Purifying Foam and the Diorsnow White Reveal Wipe Off Gel. I have told you about the wipe off gel before and this is the same formula but repackaged. I told you that I had to use it on alternate days, or my skin would get dry. Now, I think my skin has changed because I have been using it every evening for the last month, and yet, there is no peeling on my nose. In fact, my skin looks brighter than ever. The pump and the bottle looks the same. The only difference is we get a matte white finish instead of the glossy finish. I prefer this packaging so much better because it doesn’t attract finger prints at all.

cleansers

The foam cleanser is one of the gentlest I have used. With my Vichy Normaderm, I have to follow with a toner or my skin will feel slightly taut. With this one, my skin is kept comfortable and the natural oil on my skin is not stripped away, hence no feeling of parched and dry skin at all. I use it every morning for a fresh start and every evening after my makeup remover. I always double cleanse after a day with makeup on my face. The form doesn’t foam up like shampoos and I don’t know how to describe it in words, so I’ll just show you.

No bubbles there so I hope no one is disappointed 😛 I will then follow the cleanser with the wipe off gel. I don’t use my Clarisonic now that I’m on this chemical exfoliator. Don’t want to get too excited with scrubbing! I notice cleaner pores, brighter skin and there is an overall softness that I absolutely love. A huge deterrent will be the price point. The gentle purifying foam cleanser is RM140 while the wipe off gel costs RM160.

Have you tried any of the Diorsnow skincare products before? I have the moisturizers and the new Anti Spot Serum to share with you too, so stay tuned 🙂

xoxo Lily

  • I haven’t tried Diorsnow range as yet but it looks promising, might check out once my current Avene cleanser is over 🙂

    • My skin has always loved Diorsnow range 🙂 I hope you’ll like it too!

  • Diorsnow is definitely one of my all time favorite lines. I love the skincare products, but my favorite has to be the BB Cream.

    • Yay! I’m glad you love it too. Yes, the BB cream is good. My mom loves it 🙂

I haven’t tried anything from this range honestly it’s a bit pricey for me .I want to ask you something you said you strated using a whitening skin care range and it helped you clear unwanted marks do you think if we use a whitening skin care range it will help to clear dark spots ? I am in my early twenties and I have a few on my cheeks ( probably because I didnot bother to use a sunscreen in my teens) can you please guide me what kind of product would help me I would really appreciate it

  • Kiss & Make-up

I haven’t tried Dior skin care yet, but I am sure it’s great 🙂

    • I’ve read mixed reviews 🙂 It works on my skin though!

I tried the Diorsnow line a long time ago and I felt it made my dry skin drier, which has been the case with most whitening products. I have been using La Roche-Posay Mela D Pigment Control serum at night and Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot serum during the daily with my regular routine of various brands (Chanel, Clarins, YSL, Nars, and Kiehl’s… Yes, I’m not that loyal.) and have been getting great, albeit slow, results.

    • It’s not drying on me at all. I think it might be the added Icelandic Glacial Water in the ingredient that it has actually kept my skin hydrated 🙂

BTW, I forgot to ask, how has your makeup diet been going? Even though I said I will buy foundation and forgo everything else, I have managed to keep using the stuff I already have. I really can’t believe how much money I have saved* and how much space I have in my makeup bathroom!

    * Don’t let this comment deceive you. I already spent the money on purses, shoes, and garment amounts of luxury yarn, to knit myself a few sweaters for Fall!! (I knit and crochet like a fiend.) 😉

    • Makeup diet is going great 🙂 Of course, I bought some clothes, but hey, those are not counted!

I don’t even think the Diorsnow range is available here, so no harm done! Haha! Glad you found something that works well for you. I’m still on the Clarisonic and unfortunately still pick at my face during stressful seasons.

    • Finding a skincare that works is tedious. So much trial and error! I feel you though… sometimes I also pick at my face, so it’s good to keep myself distracted.

  • The Dior hydra life eye cream gave me a horrible rash, so I’ve sort of steered clear for a little bit. They’re a bit pricey for me atm, anyway! I love the idea of using products from a single line, but I find that I usually have to just pick and choose.

    • Oh dear, sorry to hear that, Larie. I never tried anything from Hydra Life, but so far, I’m pretty lucky with skin care. I sometimes pick and choose too, but I can never go wrong with Diorsnow 🙂

  • I am still pretty curious about the gel exfoliant. I am pretty well-versed in the art of exfoliating and I’ve never even tried that type of gel formula before! I know Koh Gen Doh supposedly makes a good one too…since the Dior one is not available here, maybe I’ll give that one a shot instead

    • Do you have access to Kanebo? I read pretty good reviews of theirs too 🙂
