Sunday Stash Shopping #4

For the last couple of weeks, I went for a neutral eye most of the time. I was sent the Clinique Chubby Stick for eyes and have been loving it. I will write more about it later πŸ™‚

So for the face, I’ve been using Rachel K CC Cream quite a bit because I was testing out this product. A review on it will be up soon. I like to use my Dior powder (the new one from Diorsnow range) after this CC Cream so that it’ll last longer. I use Shiseido Maquillage automatic brow pencil for brows and for eyes, I have been using 2 products. Sometimes I only use Clinique Fuller Fudge and sometimes I layer this on top of Dior eye glossΒ in Sunset for a shimmery effect. When I have more time, I’d apply Urban Decay 24/7 pencil liner in Underground on my lower lashline for more definition. Finish off with Estee Lauder mascara and I’m done for the eyes. For the lips, I’ve been going for the no brainer Clinique Curviest Caramel (not in the picture) and for the cheeks, I’ve been using Clarins Instant Light blush in Vitamin Pink. There’s only a little left so it will be going to my empties soon.

In the photo above, I really packed on the Fuller Fudge on top of Dior Sunset, and it looks like a reddish brown, but in the photo below, a sheer wash of Fuller Fudge alone makes it an understated wearable brown.

That, my friends, was my fourth edition of stash shopping. Hope you enjoyed it!

xoxo Lily

  • I do like it! I’ve been on a natural kick lately, too, although I’m starting to dabble in color again πŸ™‚

    • I’ve been going for these neutral colours because they’re so easy to use especially when I’m in a hurry. I’ve selected a few colours to play with for the next two weeks, so we’ll see how they fare πŸ˜›

  • The colours suit you so well! You can really wear red toned eye shadows very well! Curviest Caramel is so nice on you btw, pretty! ^^

    • Thanks Teri. I love how effortless it is to wear Curviest Caramel πŸ™‚

  • You “packed on the Fuller Fudge”! You’re awesome, Lily. This is one of the many reasons why I love reading beauty blogs! πŸ™‚ You look lovely in your photos! This is a great look for you!

    • Aww, thanks Kristen. Sometimes, you know, you just have to play with words. Those who get it do, those who don’t, well, they’ll stay innocent that way. LOL!

  • Tracy@Beauty Reflections

Gorgeous! I love it! Love that blush especially!

    • Thank you Trakee! I love that blush too… I’ll be sad once I use it up though…

  • Claire

I was on a rather natural kick last week but now I need colour πŸ˜€ that second picture looks very pretty, your hair looks so smooth! the clarins blush looks super natural, love!

    • Thank you Claire. Yeah, I need to play with colour now. I’ve been on the safe side for a while now!

  • Charlotte

Can’t wait for the Rachel K CC Cream review ! Btw, looking good Lily! xx

    • Thanks Charlotte. The review is scheduled to be up soon!

  • Liyana

Is that revlon colorstay concealer in the first picture? Im really curious about it. Looking forward for a review about it, as well as the clinique chubby stick for eyes πŸ™‚

    • Hi Liyana, yes, that’s the Revlon Colorstay Concealer πŸ™‚ Reviews for both will be up some time in the near future. Don’t worry!

  • I love your Sunday Stash Shopping, it makes me remind myself too of all the stuff in my stash that I should be using and that really great products! You look great in the pics πŸ™‚ Am look forward too to your Clinique Chubby Eyes. I think they havent luanched them here in Spain yet (because I keep on looking out for them), they seem abit behind because they only just launched the Chubby Stick intense here…

    • I’m glad you enjoy it, Sofia. The Chubby Eye Tints aren’t launched here either, but we’ll be getting it some time next month. I can’t wait to swatch the other colours. I’ve seen the online swatches and they look very pretty πŸ™‚

      • Guess what? I went to buy a Clinique chubby (lip) stick today,… and the Chubby Eye sticks are finally out here! Theres a bronze one that I love that looks just like a cream shadow I once had and wore to death then it ran out, and discontinued and I’ve been looking for something the same ever since, this looks just like it. Now I’m double waiting for your review πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

        • Oh yay Sofia! The bronze one should be the one I wore, Fuller Fudge. The review will only be out second week of May, but it’s good. GET IT!

  • I can’t wait for the Chubby Sticks for eyes become available here! I’ve seen so many shades that I want! I love Curviest Caramel on you as well. I still use it almost every day myself πŸ™‚

    • Me too. I have my eyes on the beige, green and lilac πŸ™‚ Curviest Caramel is so easy to use, thank goodness it’s a permanent. I can imagine using this up rather quickly compared to my other lipsticks!

  • Nida Moughal

    totally enjoyed it..
do a review of revlon concealer.

    • I will I will!

  • Liz

Lovely! Love the natural look. I can’t believe you’re almost finished a blush! I wavered so hard when that came out and ultimately didn’t buy. Still sort of regret it, but then again, not really at the same time. UGH.

    • I know, I can’t believe it myself! Out of all the blushes, I actually use up this one first. Hhmmm…

  • Aw thats such a cute pic of you Lily (the one where the eyeshadow looks like a reddish brown). Love Fuller Fudge–I really need to get my hands on some of these Chubby Sticks (both the lip AND shadow ones!!)

    • Thanks Becca! It’s a wonder how that photo turned out more red on my eyes. Might be the warmer light? I can’t seem to get that intensity now. Maybe I really layered that one >.<

  • Nani

Two words, Lily! Pretty and pretty.. πŸ™‚

    • Aww, thank you Nani πŸ˜€
