I’m sure you’ve been reading about these new Dior Addict Extremes and glosses. There are 4 star shades, them being Spring Ball, Diablotine, Delice and Princess. As you know, lip colours show up differently against different skin tones. My skin tone tends to pull out all the pinks in a lip colour, while others might pull out the oranges (hi Sunny! Heh!).
To me, Spring Ball is a peachy pink colour. The Dior Addict Extreme is moisturizing and it gives more pigment compared to your normal Dior Addicts. The texture is just as moisturizing and balmy but it isn’t so slippery that it bleeds. Dior Addict Extremes are one of my favourite lipsticks and Spring Ball is great on its own or paired with a smokey eye.
The Addict Glosses are a new line and you can choose the different finishes you like from creamy to sparkly. Spring Ball is one of the sparkly ones, called the shimmer effect (I have a couple of cream finishes aka pure effect to show you in another post) but the sparkles are super fine. If you see the picture above, you’ll notice how beautiful it is in the tube. I am not a fan of sparkly lip products but these are done so subtly that you can only see them if you’re up close. From far away, the sparkles pick up the light and reflect them in the loveliest way. The only gripe I have is the sparkles transfer all over my mouth when I remove them only with tissue. I have to make sure I use a remover to get all the little glitters off my face. Below is how it looks applied on my arm.
But we all know lipsticks and glosses are for lips. Hence, the picture below, Spring Ball gloss on top of Spring Ball lipstick, and Spring Ball nails to match. My lips sure look plumper than usual, eh? That’s the Spring Ball gloss 🙂
The glosses retail for RM95 while the Dior Addict Extreme costs RM100. You can already find these at your nearest Dior counter. I am not a gloss girl, but if I have to choose, I’d go for these. Have you tried anything?
