A 15-minute Quickie: A Fresher Face For A Night Out Right After Work

You have a wedding dinner to attend right after work. All you have time to do is to get a quick shower and probably touch up your face. Then you realize the eye shadows were a mess, the blush has faded and your face is in serious need of fresh foundation. I hate having to rush after a tiring day at work. However, I had no choice but to do the best I could.

The first thing I did was to freshen up my face. Some foundation already slid off my face after a 10-hour day, so the quickest for me was to run a cotton pad soaked with Bioderma Sensibio all over my face to get the dirt off. Since it’s just a short night out, I could get away with applying a light base and powder. I’d suggest choosing a product that is easiest to work with and in my case, I grabbed Bobbi Brown BB Cream and got my fingers dirty.

Then, I’d touch up my brows with Shu Uemura H9 brow pencil in Stone Grey. The light dusting of eye shadow was still there (Bare Escentuals Serendipity from Truth quad) so all I had to do was to go over it again. I wanted a more defined look for my eyes, so I added Chanel Taupe Gris at the outer corners of my eyes, blending it upwards along my crease. I already had mascara on, so I just used my Diorshow Artpen to create a thin line to make me look more awake.

To complete the look, I added a touch of warmth using Tarte Exposed on my cheeks, and swiped on Clinique Chubby Stick Intense in Curviest Caramel. All this in less than 15 minutes, with some time to spare for some photos.

What do you do when you head out for the night after a busy day at work?
