One, Two, Three Diorsnow Moisturizers!

My first official review after a break. I wanted to start with something that’s good for our face. Everyone needs moisturizers, and I want to tell you all about Dior’s Diorsnow moisturizers. Diorsnow is a brightening line, so naturally, these moisturizers aid in the effectiveness of their brightening serums. Some might experience dryness when using those serums and these moisturizers keep your skin hydrated and dewy. I’ve been using them since mid March, and now, 4 months later, I’m only half way through. For this post, I will tell you about 2 of them, plus 1 bonus šŸ˜›

Fresh Creme Global Transparency (RM300)

This is a day moisturizer. I use this after my toner and serum, before my sunscreen. The texture is creamy, so when I first felt it, I was wondering if I would get shiny. I have normal sometimes combination skin, and I’m used to lighter moisturizers in the day. Of course, my concern would be if this is too rich for day time, especially in this humid environment. I’m glad to tell you that it is not. It’s not too rich and it doesn’t make me look like a grease pan by noon. In fact, my face is kept soft and foundations go on without emphasizing flakes around my nose. However, if you have oily skin, you might want to try something else from this line. I have it for you… later in this post šŸ™‚

I love that Dior includes a spatula with these moisturizers. I was going to rant about the packaging because I have to dip my fingers in it, but hey, I spot spatula, so I shut up. LOL!

Diorsnow Anti Spot Repairing Creme (RM335)

This is a night cream. Something to follow the Anti Spot Targeting Serum which I absolutely love. That serum feels a little tacky after application, and this night cream smooths it out. I sleep in an air conditioned room and I find that this moisturizer is rich enough to keep my face hydrated during my sleep. However, I do note that I wake up with oilier skin, and when I splash my face with water, it feels like there’s still moisturizer sitting on top of my skin. I’m not sure if it’s because my skin is not dry enough to absorb everything, or if I apply too much, but after washing my face in the morning, my face feels soft and supple without any tautness. I don’t mind a richer moisturizer at night, and sometimes I even add a face oil before this moisturizer. I did observe my skin looking more hydrated with minimal flaking around my nose.

Now for the bonus.

Diorsnow White Reveal Ultra Purifying Fluid

If you have combination to oily skin, THIS is what you’re looking for. I received some sample tubes of this when I purchased quite a few things from Dior last year, and when I know that I will be out and about in the heat, I always use this moisturizer. It has the ability to mattify my skin almost immediately, while keeping my face moisturized. My skin usually looks dewy and a little shiny before foundation, you know with all the skincare, but when I use this moisturizer, my skin actually looks prepped and ready to go without the need of powder. It is not as emolient as the other moisturizers and it doesn’t glide as much, but BOY does it keep shine away. If you’re looking for something like this, you should go ask for a sample and see how you like it. I hope it’s still available and not discontinued though >.<

A good moisturizer makes a lot of difference, and thankfully, there are so many options out there so we have plenty to choose from. At the moment, I’m enjoying these few and I’m happy to use them up before trying another. Have you tried these, or do you have a fave you want to share?

xoxo Lily

  • The best Moisturizing Lotion I have bought. love the smell, love the feeling when I put it on my face, my face has a soft feeling , look more bright after kept using for just a week, absolutely worth to have this product.

    • Glad you agree, Emma šŸ™‚

  • I’m actually looking for a new daytime moisturizer. I’m a little tired of the one I’m using which is not mattifying. The Ultra Purifying Fluid would be so perfect for me atm! I’ll see if I can get a sample.

    • Oh, I hope you’ll like it. Do drop by to let me know what you think!

  • Great review, but as it’s summer now and a hot one, would you recommend using this daytime moisturizer now, or put away for autumn, but what can be a substitute for summer thenn?

    • Hi Nika. I live in a tropical country so it’s hot and humid all year round. So, it really depends on your skin type. If you have combination oily skin, I recommend the Ultra Purifying Fluid šŸ™‚

  • Nice! You know I’ve never tried Dior skincare before-I should, hey? šŸ™‚

    • You really should, Tracy šŸ™‚ So far, my skin is safe with Dior’s skincare. There are hits and misses with other brands, and Dior skincare is the only one that’s been hitting it right every time.

  • Ultra Purifying Fluid….I’m sold haha :D. So far nothing works to keep the shine away for me. I layer skincare too. Because I oil up so fast nowadays I stop layering.

    • Ah, Fiona, I think you’ll love the Ultra Purifying Fluid. Just go sample it and you’ll know what I mean šŸ™‚

  • Liz

I never thought of using Dior skincare before but I’ll be testing the DiorSnow products shortly because of your glowing recs. THANKS, LILY. LOL

    • Haha, I guess Dior is one of those brands that just works on my skin. I hope it does well on yours too!

  • LOL!! Lily you are hilarious! “I spot spatula, so I shut up.”

    • Haha I’m glad you’re amused. I was very happy to see the spatula btw. Heh!

  • I keep hearing about all these whitening, brightening lines and I am SO curious but so far have yet to take the plunge. These sound nice though…not sure if they’re available here but I’ll def have to look around the dept. store next time! šŸ™‚

BTW, how is your summer going, Lily?? I feel like we haven’t talked in FOREVER!! šŸ™

    • You have to try Dior skincare one day, Becca. I haven’t been on social media for a while now, and it DOES feel like forever, doesn’t it? How’s your summer? Well, actually, we don’t have summer here, so for me, it’s just another 3 months. Haha! It’s been hectic the last couple of weeks and blogging has slowed down. I foresee some sporadic posts here and there instead of a steady schedule, but that’ll have to do in the meantime. I hope yours is more fun though!!
