Femme Boulevard: Inspired By Mila Kunis

Mila Kunis is my girl crush. She’s so beautiful! I also love all her smokey eyes. First, I’m a fan of smokey eyes, and smokey eyes on Mila? I die. There’s a look I pinned that I’ve been dying to recreate, and there was a chance to, when I had to attend a dinner on Saturday night. Here is a close up on Mila’s makeup.

Nude cheeks and lips, black liner and a combo of dark brown and purpley grey on the eyes. Also, note the wispy lashes. There is no way I can recreate the exact look, but with what I have, I managed to get kinda close. For eye shadow, I used a the Chanel Charming palette. I mixed the dark brown and violety plum on my lids, and used the medium beige to blend out the edges. I added lots of black liner on my waterline and finished off with false lashes. For the cheeks, I mixed Rouge Bunny Rouge Delicata and MAC Gingerly, and on the lips, I used Rouge Dior in Grege.

Here is my version, what I think is more flattering on my features.

I’m paler than Mila so the eye shadows turned out darker, but I do love the smokiness of the look. I think this look is flattering on everyone! Greys warmed up with browns on the eyes and a choice of lips and cheeks that look nude against your skin colour. What do you think?

Since our theme this month is an inspiration drawn from others, I’m curious to see what inspires Teri and Lilit. Do remember to check out their look!
