The Perfect Palette Tag

Booboo Ninja tagged me! Yeah, even readers can tag me, not just bloggers. LOL! I thought it would be fun to do this too. I mean, we’re talking about palettes, yo. This tag has been going around YouTube, and I think this is still do-able even though I don’t do videos. Yet. For this tag, I have to choose a palette for different situations and they are:

1. Best Packaging
2. Best Color Payoff
3. Most Versatile
4. Best for Traveling
5. Biggest Regret
6. Best Color Names
7. Least Used
8. Most Used
9. Most Loved
10. Desert Island

Thing is, I have quite a few palettes, and for those I find I don’t use much of, I give them away to friends and family. Also, I depot a lot of things to make my personal palettes. That is why you will see some custom palettes here. Hey, no rules about palettes being bought from a specific brand eh? I’ll try to make it short since there are 10 to go through. Typing is VERY different from talking, my friends.

1. Best Packaging

Liu 2 Liu 7

I don’t know why, but this is the only palette I’ve gone crazy over. It’s last year’s Guerlain Liu Lip and Eye Calligraphy Palette. The packaging is sleek and it just looks gorgeous inside, with great quality products. This year’s looks similar, but it doesn’t make my heart skip a beat, or skip at all. Weird.

2. Best Color Payoff & 6. Best Color Names

Hands down the LORAC Pro Eye Palette. The pigmentation is awesome! Also, the heck with giving the shades a name. Just call it what it is.

3. Most Versatile andΒ 4. Best for Traveling

unii palette

Why, that’ll be my customized palette of course. Of all my Unii and Zpalettes, this one is the most balanced with eye shadows, a blush and a bronzer. In this Unii palette, you get a NARS Laguna bronzer, Bobbi Brown Coral blush and Urban Decay Naked1 palette. Full of awesomeness! Versatile and travel friendly.

5. Biggest Regret & 7. Least Used

MAC2

It is not a real ‘palette’ per se, but I do regret collecting the MAC eye shadows that I hardly use. I wanted to create my own palette with all these singles, because I suck at self perseverance and I’m easily swayed, watching too much YouTube videos. It’s added to the blog sale pile, so if you want to take some home, feel free to take a look.

8. Most Used

charming4

At the moment, it’s this Chanel Charming palette, but it can change any time. If you ask me 2 weeks later, I’ll give you another answer! I wish this Charming palette still looks as pristine. At the moment, it’s looking a little beat up, but oh well. That’s what makeup is for, right? Still, I prefer to show you Charming in its virgin state. LOL!

9. Most Loved

Lunasol Blushes

I thought I would choose yet another eye palette, but in all honesty, I love my Lunasol blush palette the most. There is a light coral blush, a warm rosy red blush, a sheer bronzer and a highlighter in this palette. The shades are personally chosen by me πŸ™‚ I’ve been using this quite a lot, but it still looks brand new! This photo is taken while it was new, of course. An old photo. Heh! All in the name of convenience πŸ˜›

10. Desert Island

None. Why? Seriously dudes? You worry about the perfect palette when you’re stuck on a desert island? Geez!

OK. I tag the usual suspects and anyone who wants to do this. The names that pop up are Tracy, Larie, Liz, because I know they’ll join in the fun, and I feel weird calling other names just in case they might feel burdened to do this. If you don’t blog, I tag you too, so please comment and tell me your perfect palettes πŸ™‚
