Dior Addict Lip Glow Review: Color Reviver Balm 004 Coral

For most people, this is an overpriced tinted lip balm. Let me tell you right off the bat that you don’t need this, but I do like it. I used up the whole tube of the original one, and now, using this, I remember why I liked it so much. For one, it’s from my beloved brand Dior. Most of Dior’s products work really well on me, so naturally, I am biased. I thought I wrote about the original one, but apparently I didn’t. Guess I HAVE to write about it now 😛

I am not a lip balm person, and Lip Glow to me is like a hybrid of makeup and lipcare. Dior Addict Lip Glow is Dior’s first customized balm and it embellishes the natural color of the lips. Lip Glow reacts differently on individuals. Due to its Color Reviver technology, the colour reacts directly with our unique chemistry hence releasing a different shade of pink or in this case, coral on the lips. I agree with this wholeheartedly because I’ve seen this on other people and they looked different. The original Lip Glow looked red on me, while this Coral one just looks very natural.

The Dior Addict Lip Glow is enriched with wild mango and luffa cylindrica which cushions lips in comfort. My lips feel very comfortable, and after removing this balm, my lips do feel softer and more moisturised. When swatched on my hand, Coral Lip Glow doesn’t look like anything. There’s just a tint of colour, but when applied on my lips, it becomes a light coral which makes my lips look brighter and naturally healthy. It evens out the colour on my lips, gives it a bit of shine, and keeps my lips hydrated.

Unlike the original lip glow, this Coral looks very natural. It’s great because I can pair it with anything. I did a look using this Coral Lip Glow and it’ll be posted next week. So if you’re curious, do come back to check 🙂 In the photo above, Coral looks similar to my naked lips, but in real life, it is much brighter. The Dior Addict Lip Glow in Coral is limited edition (RM97) and is RM3 more expensive than the permanent one. I wonder why… I mean, it’s just RM3, less than USD1, why bother? Like I said, this is not a must have, but if you’re one who needs a lip balm, then why not try a pretty one? I read lots about Fresh ones, and comparatively, this isn’t that much more expensive. I know I’ll be pampering my lips for a while, and when I don’t know what to wear, I’ll reach for this one 🙂 What about you?
