Review: Burberry Light Glow Peony Blush

I don’t believe I reviewed any of my Burberry Light Glow Blushes before. I bought a few Burberry items through Harrods online shop last year, and while I have been using them, I haven’t told you about them. It was my first time shopping at Harrods, and while it took them about 2 weeks to put together my stuff (and there weren’t that many, trust me), the shipping itself only took a few days from the UK to Malaysia. I definitely experienced much better customer service, but all the items reached safely in their pristine condition, and that’s the most important thing. I haven’t shopped there ever since, however đŸ˜›

If the name Burberry didn’t tell you it’s a luxury brand, the feel of the packaging definitely does. The heavy metal case is sleek and masculine but its smooth and flawless lines make it orgasmic to touch. It’s sexy and well thought out, even Tom Ford packaging doesn’t beat it. My favourite packaging so far, and yes, while it’s all superficial, first impressions and first touch matter before you see the product inside. The blush itself is embossed in Burberry cheque, the same as their eye shadows. The powder is silky and smooth and picking up the product with a brush doesn’t kick up any powder at all. It applies like a dream, and the texture is so fine, the blush blends itself. Yes, I am spoiled and because of this, some of my lower end blushes don’t feel the same anymore. Why you no blend yourself???!!!???

Peony is a very light cool pink and I think will suit lighter skin tones. It can definitely be built up, and someone with medium skin tone can pull it off without it looking ashy. I prefer to apply this lightly just for that slight hint of pink. It gives that barely there blush that makes you wonder if I’m wearing any blush at all. I wore it in my recent post, and you can see that it goes well with nude and bold lipsticks as well. But of course, it clashes if you wear very warm lipstick like orange. Works better with pink, red and berry lips, of course, like how I wore it here. I have a few more of these to show you, but I’ll talk about them another day. Have you tried any of these Burberry Light Glow Blushes before? What’s your favourite shade?
