Review: NEW Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Creme

What goes through your mind when someone mentions anti aging cream? I usually think the cream would be mostly rich and thick, and suitable for more mature women 30 years old and above. Right? When I was in my 20s, I used hydrating moisturizers and brightening serums. Only when I hit my 30s that I started using anti aging creams. Today, let me tell you about the recently launched Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Creme. This is already available in the US and Europe for about a couple of years but it only made its way here.

Estee Lauder Global Anti Aging Creme

Basically, this cream has multi functions and it’s supposed to reduce the look of lines and wrinkles, addresses the issues of loss of firmness, dullness, and dehydration. It is an intuitive cream that helps activate skin’s own revitalization, depending on what it needs. Sounds too good to be true eh? And I thought it sounds familiar too – I thought there’s a serum from the same Estee Lauder company that does that šŸ˜›

I have been using this cream every morning and night for the past one month, and let me tell you what it doesn’t do. It doesn’t clog my pores, it doesn’t feel heavy on my skin even when I applied it in the morning before going out, and it doesn’t break me out. It does however keep my skin hydrated and plump (not a single flake in sight) and dare I say it regulates my skin’s sebum production that it’s not as oily as before? You guys mentioned how good my skin looked in a recent post, when I only have a tiny bit of foundation on. That foundation my friends, offers minimal coverage, and the most important “makeup” is good skincare. I feel that my skin is more even toned and brighter and while I can’t pinpoint exactly what it is, my skin just looks better.

EL Global Anti Aging Creme texture

The cream’s texture is not as siliconey as other Estee Lauder moisturizers I tried, and I like to use this moisturizer to make a few dots on my face before massaging it in. Another thing about this moisturizer is that it doesn’t turn more emolient if you warm it up in your hands. So sometimes, I like to rub some moisturizer between my fingers then pat it on my face. It really depends on whether or not I want to massage my face.

The Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Creme is already available at Estee Lauder counters nationwide and retails for RM335. I have to tell you that if you use it daily and nightly, the whole tub will probably last you about 3 to 4 months. I have already used about a third of the tub in the past month or so. Have you tried this cream before? This is worth looking at if you’re looking for a cream to suit both your daily and nightly needs šŸ™‚

  • I agree! The most important makeup is skincare! The trick is finding something that works for you! Glad this one works for you! I’ve never had much luck with EL skincare though. Tends to break me out, and it’s probably the silicones that tend to be in there. Although I do like the eye serum!

    • Lily

The eye serum is good! So is their ANR serum. The moisturisers I tried are usually loaded with silicone but this one, not so much. Too bad it breaks you out though.

  • Hey Lily, I don’t think I’ve tried this one (I might have got a small pot as a GWP but I gave it to my Belgian mama)! For the moment I’m on the ANR eye duo for nighttime, and a Darphin one for daytime. I agree good skincare is EVERYTHING though!

    • Lily

If skin is good, we can even save on foundation. Lol!

  • Wow! That’s pretty awesome that you’re able to wear this during the day under makeup and not get mega oily! Color me impressed! And your skin has been looking amazing lately but I figured it was glowy pregnant lady face! This creams sounds divine. šŸ™‚

    • Lily

There are also pregnant women who get continuous breakouts! I consider myself lucky.

  • I haven’t used too much EL, but I did really love the ANR! glad to hear this is less siliconey than others, for some reason I’ve been avoiding silicone lately. It almost makes me feel more greasy, although that doesn’t really make sense does it?

    • Lily

I love the ANR too! It’s my staple. I think I’m lucky silicones don’t break me out but I don’t really like the super slippery feel of it.

      • yes, slippery — that’s exactly the word!

        • Lily

It’s a little weird isn’t it? That slippery feeling? I was never really bothered by it, until I tried creams without parabens and silicones!

  • YES. Skincare > everything else. I haven’t worn foundation much at all in the past few months – maybe just a handful of days here and there? But I upped my skincare game! Just…so expensive, LOL. I am really liking an EL toner for dry skin that I bought, though!

    • Lily

Oh yeah I get what you mean. Skincare that works for me cost so much! I haven’t been wearing much foundation either. It’s such a good feeling šŸ™‚

  • Liz

Okay, EL skin care never really interests me very much. But I have a friend looking for a good night cream so this makes a nice recommendation!

    • Lily

Then I hope your friend will like this šŸ™‚
