There are days when I take my time to do my makeup. I’ll place the eye shadows meticulously, taking care in being clean and not overblend. I’ll use a few products on my cheeks just for that barely there flush. Then, there are days (quite often nowadays) when I’m in a hurry and apply my makeup without much care. This is what I usually do on those days. The makeup looks a little undone, a little worn in, but it still brings out the features.
Face and cheeks: RMS ‘un’cover up only on places where I need like under my eyes and some blemishes. Otherwise, skin is bare. For blush, I just use a fluffy brush and swirl it on. I think I’m wearing NARS Deep Throat here.
Eyes: Most of my time is spent here. Brows must be filled and using a pencil like the Shu Uemura H9 brow pencil is easier and makes for less mistakes. I then line my eyes with a kohl for smudging – both upper and lower lash lines. I’ve been using grey pencils nowadays because it’s less harsh than blacks but still gives the impact. After smudging, I use a grey powder shadow to carelessly sweep on my lids and lower lash line. Here, I used Chanel single eye shadow in Taupe Gris. It is quite pigmented so I sheered it out by using the softest fluffiest brush. Then mascara.
Lips: Any tinted lip balm will do. I’m wearing the YSL Candy Balm in Mouthwatering Berry.
Hope you liked today’s look. Happy weekend!
