Sunday Stash Shopping #47 with Shiseido

I’ve been wanting to show you guys how the Shiseido Maquillage Dramatic Mood Veil in RD100 look on my skin. You saw how beautiful it is when I posted it on Instagram and isn’t it about time I did a look using it? Since I did a Bobbi Brown centric look recently, I thought I’d just keep on with the theme, and do a Shiseido one today. I realize I don’t have much of their makeup anymore. I have a couple of cream shadows which I put in the blog sale, but since no one wanted them, I thought I’d show them some love. I also love the Perfect Rouge lipstick in Sublime, so here, I’m featuring these 3 products.

Shiseido Maquillage Dramatic Mood Veil RD100 Shiseido Sublime and Patina

For the blush, the instructions were to use the different shades individually on the cheeks to create a sculpted effect. There a unique brush provided, but the individual colors are really too small to pick up individually. The difference isn’t all that dramatic anyway, so I thought it was really a waste of time. I prefer to use my blush brush, swirl it around the pan and just use all colors as one blush. All for one πŸ™‚ On my eyes, I used only one eye shadow, their BR709 which is also known as Patina. Sublime (the lipstick) is a beautiful pinky coral, and these 3 products complement each other very well. Here’s the final look.

look

It’s a subtle look that isn’t too bright or muted. I think you can wear this from work to grocery shopping. Hope you liked it and enjoy your Sunday!

  • Lookin’ Lovely Lily! LLL-that’s you hahaha!
I’m not a fan of their cream shadows though-they move too much and crease which makes me sad because they have some pretty shades!

    • Lily

LLL Hahahaha! I guess the Shiseido cream shadows are more for those with dry lids. That’ll work great on them πŸ™‚

  • Hey Lily, that’s such a lovely look!!! I love EVERYTHING about it! The cream shadow looks great! I’ve heard good things about the formula, but I haven’t tried any! I really should tho, being the cream shadow addict that I am πŸ™‚

    • Lily

Thanks Sunny. They’re really quite emollient, and a base is definitely needed. I find that with a base, they stay much longer. Otherwise, they’d crease or fade rather quickly.

  • Beautiful, Lily!
Love the subtle gold/khaki eyeshadow and the clean lines.

    • Lily

      Thank you Lena πŸ™‚

  • GummyVision

Such a beautiful look!! Think it would be great for Summer & into early Fall…& love the shadow!! Great idea to show the blog sale leftovers some love☺️ xo

    • Lily

Sometimes, there are blog sale leftovers that become favourites again. Haha! But most of the time, those things that don’t get sold will be donated to the needy. The tiny bit of $ I get from blog sale actually helps fund the renewal of the site’s hosting πŸ™‚

  • Liz

Gorgeous! This can be worn anywhere, really. I wanted to love Shiseido’s cream shadows so badly but they’re so melty. -_________-

    • Lily

Hhmmm… I know what you mean with Shiseido cream shadows. I think they’re going for that glowy wet-ish finish, but the texture is something those with dry lids can really appreciate.

  • Beautiful! You and your hair have been looking extra fierce lately. πŸ™‚

    • Lily

OMG, I haven’t done anything to my hair since the beginning of this year. It’s looking shitty. HAHAHA!

  • What a pretty blush! I love the look of it, but yes, I’d probably just swirl too. x

    • Lily

Hi Ting, swirling is the way to go πŸ™‚

  • Great look! Love the lip color on you! I only have one Shiseido lippie hope to get more

    • Lily

One thing for sure, Shiseido lipsticks are pretty good πŸ™‚

  • BooBooNinja

Such a pretty look. Your skin is especially glowy too.

    • Lily

Thank you BooBooNinja! I’ve been exfoliating my skin again, so less dead skin cells = brighter skin!

  • You look so gorgeous! I love this blush but I totally agree on the application instructions – too complicated and the colour segments are too small to work with.

    • Lily

Thank you so much Yu Ming! It’s definitely complicated, and so not worth the effort or time. LOL!

  • Helllooooo, gorgeous! You look fabulous, Lily! As usual πŸ˜‰ I think that eyeshadow is a great shade…I NEED IT. But I hate buying singles, lol! Coz then I have to coordinate it with something, usually, for some definition. I like the lip color too, though. Perhaps it’s time to go back to the Shiseido counter!

    • Lily

I wonder if you guys have the blush too. It’s really really pretty. It’s permanent here so… if you want help buying, I can always help πŸ™‚

  • That palette looks beautiful. And your look too… what perfect eyeliner!

    • Lily

Thank you so much! The blush is very beautiful πŸ™‚
