Sunday Stash Shopping #50: By Terry Ombre Blackstar Misty Rock

Instead of doing a review on this cream shadow in a stick, the By Terry Misty Rock, I thought I’d just use it for this stash shopping post. It took me a while to understand this product. There is a much longer setting time compared to Laura Mercier and Bobbi Brown. You can play around with it longer and it blends easily. However, I find that moving it around too much before it setting will sheer it out a lot. Just a thought. This is a look I’m wearing right now, before we go out for our Father’s Day outing. We’re going to watch the Minions! All of us love cartoons 🙂

Right, let’s get down to it, because I’m typing this super fast before we leave the house. Here are the products used.

For the base, I used IOPE’s cushion foundation. I really like this foundation. It gives a dewy finish without making me look greasy, even in this hot and humid environment. The shade I have is N21, so it gives a more natural finish, less coverage compared to its C21. Initially, I thought N is natural, and C is cool, but I was wrong. C is for move coverage, apparently. I searched this online before purchasing and as luck would have it, the shade matched perfectly. It goes on a little brighter than my skin tone, but that’s the K-culture for you. All for brighter, dewy, flawless skin. I matched this with apricots and peaches on my cheeks. Canmake cream cheeks in CL05 is a milky apricot which gives my skin a lit from within glow. The color makes my complexion look brighter as well. The Becca Shimmering Souffle is a nude-ish blush on me with a not so subtle glow. I used this on top of the Canmake cream cheek and the combination is, again, glowy and very natural.

On my eyes is By Terry Misty Rock and a thin line of Bobbi Brown pen liner. I flicked the line upward before I reached the outer corner of my eye for the added lift. I’ve also been using the Estee Lauder Little Black Primer a lot because that’s how much I love it. On top of the primer is the Sucky2 mascara I have not threw away yet. Using this on top of the primer makes it that much better, which proves yet again the awesomeness of this primer – to transform the shitty and hopeless into something satisfactory. On my lips is Chanel Coco Shine in Liberte, the only Chanel lipstick I have in my stash.

Here’s the final look!

So this is the epic 50th stash shopping post. Do you guys want me to continue? Is it getting boring already? LET ME KNOW! I hope you enjoyed today’s look and Happy Father’s Day 🙂
