Sunday Stash Shopping #70: Dior Eye Reviver 002

Ah I promised you guys to come up with a look using the Dior Eye Reviver palette, but I forgot, and that was a month ago! Then a reader’s comment reminded me, thank you Jeanne 🙂 I came up with 2 wearable looks. In both the looks, I wore Diorskin Star foundation as a base. It’s been a while since I used this foundation and I still like it. On my brows I used Dior’s brow palette (darkest shade) to fill in my brows and then set everything in place using the gel in the palette.

olive green

Here on my eyes, I used khaki all over my lids and beige added on the inner corner of my eyes. The matte beige is used to highlight the brow bone. I used the gel liner in the palette to draw a thin line for added definition. To complement the khaki, I used a peachy pink blush, Diorblush in Rose Cherie and on my lips, Diorific in Golden Shock (just the matte peach beige side).

dark brown

Here, I used the dark brown all over my lids. I used my finger to pat it on for more depth, then with a blending brush, just blended out the edges. I then pat on more dark brown on the lid for a smokier effect. As usual, I used the matte beige shade to highlight the brow bone, and the gel liner provided to line my eyes. For this look, I drew a thicker line and pulled it out a little longer to elongate the shape of my eyes just a tiny bit. On my cheeks I decided to use a little pink so I picked an old Dior blush, Rose Glow. On my lips, I had on Rouge Dior Nude in Charnelle, a light pink. The eyes are already so warm, so I thought the subtle pinks balanced out the look a little.

I hope you enjoyed today’s entry. Have a great weekend ahead!

  • I like the eye look a lot. And you always pick the best lip colors, Charnelle is so pretty.

      Aaw, thanks Melissa 🙂

  • Oooo, I really love the khaki on you, Lily. That reminds me that I need to use a similar shade from Shiseido that I have but been sitting looking pretty because I have yet to find the time to play around with it.

I always forget about Khaki. It’s a great shade on our skin tone you know. Especially those with golden undertones. Very flattering!

  • LOVE. I have this palette but have yet to try it LOL. #badblogger

LOL Tracy! If you have similar shades, you might want to keep it and use it as a gift or something. Out of the eye shadows you have and already love, this one probably won’t be able to beat those 😉

  • The gold/khaki is so interesting in that first look! I like it! And all of these lipsticks look great on you, haha. I feel like I don’t have normal pinks T_T

    • Lily

LOL Larie! I remember loving Dior Lucky on you, so I’m sure there are pinks out there that look great on you 🙂

Thanks for reminding me 🙂 I love playing with makeup, and practiced very hard when I first started. I guess that’s when I figured out what worked best for myself. And that was 8 years ago. I started makeup late… only when I was pregnant with my first born. Hope you had a good Raya break yourself!
