I’m not very adventurous when it comes to applying my daily makeup. I have 3 kids to juggle so I always end up with similar looks. I can be using different products, but my technique is most of the time the same. I’d use a brown shadow on my lids, sometimes with liner, sometimes with mascara only, blush and lipstick. I might change up the lid and lip color, but I always end up looking the same. I also think having hooded eyes contribute to this – no matter how crazy I apply my eye shadows, my hooded lids will cover most of it. LOL!
As usual, here, I applied a brown shadow on my lids, edges blended out. I used Urban Decay Mia, from the 15th Anniversary Palette, and mascara. No liner. On my brows I used Bobbi Brown brow gel in Mahogany and MAC Chamomile as brow highlight (I hit pan on this shadow. YAY!)
On my cheeks is Bobbi Brown powder blush in Pale Pink. It looks very bright in the pan and the blush is really pigmented. So, I like to use a very soft fluffy blush brush to diffuse the color onto my cheeks. On my lips, I’m wearing Marc Jacobs Infamous.
I just clicked on the “Looks” tab and browsed through the thumbnails. Unless it’s very different, like a red lip vs smokey eyes and nude lips, most of my other FOTDs just look the same! But to be fair, in real life, the difference is more apparent. So for my next few stash posts, I’ll experiment with different eye colors. I’ve been using neutrals and browns for too long. You guys must be bored!
