Sunday Stash Shopping #80: Cult Beauty Haul

Charlotte Tilbury. I’ve wanted to try their eye shadow quad for a long time. I bought her cream shadow before, but the performance is not up to par when compared to Tom Ford cream shadows. Charlotte’s crease and fade with a vengeance and the pot of Marie Antoinette is sitting in my drawer, unloved. I’ve been wanting to try the eye palette Dolce Vita, but was afraid I’d be disappointed again. After much consideration, and a few pushes, I finally bought it. And it is great! I also got the Colour Chameleon and it stays on my lids the whole day! It doesn’t rub off, doesn’t transfer and stays budge proof. The downside is, it’s VERY difficult to blend. I need to work very quickly with it, one eye at a time. I’ll swipe the shadow on my lids then as fast as I can, I use my pinky to blend out the edges. I think it sets in less than 10 seconds!

To qualify for free shipping, my purchase has to be more than 50 pounds (less VAT) so I added the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer in the bag. I got the shade Ebony to try. I have their Browiz in Medium Brown, and it still looked a tiny bit warmer than I’d like. I’m very picky. Ebony matches my brow hair perfectly! The formula is a little softer than I like so to make it look natural, I’ll just fill in the gaps and brush it out with the spoolie attached at the other end of the pencil.

Today, I’ll show you what Bronzed Garnet looks like on me. It looks redder in stock photos, but on my skin, it’s definitely more brown with a tinge of red. It’s very wearable, but I wish it’s a twist up pencil that I don’t have to sharpen. Here, I’m wearing only Bronzed Garnet on my eyes, mascara and the ABH Ebony brow definer. On my lips is Urban Decay Ex-Girlfriend. For blush, I used NARS Deep Throat.

I’ll show you Dolce Vita on my eyes next week. I haven’t taken photos yet 🙂 I usually have good experiences with Cult Beauty. When it’s good mail day, the package arrives in 1 week. At most, the package arrives in about 2 weeks. I haven’t emailed them before, so I don’t know their response time, but that’s because there hasn’t been a need to. I also like that I don’t have to pay VAT, which makes the products that much more affordable. Still expensive given the exchange rate, but overall, good experience. No, I’m not affiliated with Cult Beauty at all. Just a happy customer so far.

Have a great weekend you guys!
