Sunday Stash Shopping #102 using minimal products

Hey guys, I want to show you the makeup I’ve been using often lately. I put some basic powders I want to hit pan in a Make Up For Ever empty palette so these are the ones I just pick up without thinking. There’s a base shade for my lids, a medium brown and a dark brown. I don’t remember what shades they are, but I think they’re old eye shadows from MAC. I want to hit pan on these and I’m making good progress in the medium brown which I’ve been using for the past few months. The blush is NARS Orgasm which I think will hit pan soon.

The mini Burberry lipstick is shade Sepia, Burberry Kisses. It’s a very natural colour on my lips – you know there’s lipstick but it only enhances. I’ve been loving the Laneige brow cushion (no1 two tone grey) A LOT! It has replaced my brow pencils on most days and I will definitely repurchase this. The Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir mascara is a HG for me, and this is a mini version, and I do not hesitate to repurchase when I’m done. However, I still have a few mascaras I want to use up before getting a new one. Last but not least, the underrated NARS tinted moisturizer which gives me an evened out base with just enough coverage but not too much. I still need to conceal my under eyes and I’ve been using the Bobbi Brown Instant Full Coverage concealer (not pictured). I just realized I also forgot to photograph the liner I used in this look. I’ve been trying to get back to the habit of using a gel liner, and I’ve always loved the Bobbi Brown gel liner. Here, I used the shade Wine Ink.

I’m always partial towards looks like this. Minimal, and if I want to amp it up, I’d use a black kajal liner to smoke out the rims of my eyes, or just keep everything the same and use a bright red lip. Works every time. This is especially true now that I’ve had kids. It’s hard to sit down for a long time to get a complicated look done. I do miss those times when I’d be able to play with makeup uninterrupted, but now I have to adapt and use makeup that’s fool proof, easy and effortless.

When I was taking the photos outside, Ashton kept photobombing me and I could hardly get a proper photo taken. So, what’s a girl gonna do? Include the little monkey!

I hope you’re having a great weekend. Have a very Merry Christmas tomorrow, to those of you celebrating!! And to the rest of us, happy holidays!

xoxo Lily
