RMS Lip2Cheek Modest

I think along with the RMS Living Luminizer, another product from the brand I have always wanted to try is the RMS Lip2Cheek. There are a few colours I’m interested in, but in the end, my pick is Modest. I think it’s the closest to my skin’s natural flush, only brighter, and I want to try something that’s more natural looking. It is described as a fresh, rich berry pink colour, but I’d just say it’s a rose.

Modest is creamy and pigmented, and all the oils in the ingredients make it very comfortable even on the lips. Coconut and caster oils are the highest in the list of ingredients, followed by beeswax, shea butter and jojoba oil. I like to apply with fingers because I prefer a sheerer application. I always start by applying a thin layer of product, then add on more later, if needed.

I’m wearing Modest on my cheeks and lips in photos above, but it doesn’t look like I’m wearing much. So, I decided to do a comparison. One with all basic makeup done except cheeks and lips, and another, with Modest on cheeks and lips.

See the difference?

I have my eyes on Spell and Smile and maybe one day, I’ll get my hands on them. I bought this from the Sephora Malaysia website when they JUST introduced RMS so it was much cheaper (RM105, promo price maybe? I don’t know). I believe it is now RM160. I’m not sure if our local Sephora carries this in stores. I don’t go out much to shop makeup these days. So easy to just click, yet so dangerous. I’ve always loved cream blushes because they look so much more like skin. These stay on my skin for about 5 hours and they also go on well on top of powder.

Have you tried anything from RMS?
